They’re a close contact – they need to be tested and quarantined for 14 days.

  • Central Tire Service, Welsford Street, Shepparton on Wednesday September 30th through Tuesday October 13th.

You are an occasional contact, need to get tested, and stay home while you wait for your results.

You don’t need to quarantine for 14 days.

Additionally, you should be vigilant for symptoms of COVID-19 and get retested at the first sign of symptoms.

  • Bunnings Warehouse Shepparton, Benalla Road, Shepparton on Wednesday September 30th from 5pm to 7pm.

What should I do after a coronavirus test?

After you’ve been tested, you’ll need to go straight home and stay home while you wait for your results.

Don’t go to work or go shopping.

Your doctor or the clinic where you were tested will contact you by phone or text message to provide you with your results.

If you are concerned that you will lose payment while waiting for your results, you may be eligible for a test isolation payment for coronavirus (COVID-19) of $ 450.

visit for more informations.

What happens if I test positive for COVID-19?

Even if you don’t have symptoms of a coronavirus and test positive for the virus, you need to self-isolate in your home or accommodation to reduce the risk of spreading it to others.

A member of the Department of Health from the Department of Health and Human Services will contact you to advise you of the next steps, including how long you will be in isolation.

You will need to stay home during your isolation time. You are not allowed to go to work or shop or play sports.

Since the coronavirus is highly contagious, if you don’t stay home you are putting others at risk.

If you are concerned that you will lose pay because you have to stay home to isolate yourself, you may be eligible for a Coronavirus Worker Support payment of $ 1,500.

visit for more informations.

If your condition worsens, see your family doctor. If you feel very uncomfortable and have difficulty breathing, give Triple Zero a call.

When can I get out of isolation after a positive coronavirus test?

You can exit isolation if the following criteria are met:

  • The DHHS assessed your situation and decided that your isolation may end. You will receive written approval.
  • For mild illnesses, it will have been at least 10 days since your symptoms started. In the case of more severe illness (e.g. if hospitalization was required) at least 14 days have passed.
  • You have not had a fever or respiratory symptoms from coronavirus in the past 72 hours.

Once the DHHS or an authorized health care provider determines that you meet these criteria, they will be given written approval that you no longer need to isolate.

You can then (and only then) return to your normal activities according to your local restrictions.

I’m in close contact – what if I test negative?

You still have to go through 14 days of quarantine.

The incubation period for coronavirus is up to 14 days.

If a test done during this time came back negative, it doesn’t mean you won’t develop coronavirus, even if you feel fine.

Even if you don’t have any symptoms, you will be asked to do another test on day 11 of your quarantine.

Specific instructions will be provided if necessary. A negative test result from this second test does not release you from quarantine.

You still need to complete the 14-day quarantine period to make sure you don’t develop a coronavirus.

If you don’t get a second test on or around the 11th day, your quarantine period will be extended.

If you have any questions about the Shepparton outbreak, call the GV Health hotline on 1800 313 070 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
